How to use VGSAVE
- Copy the URL of a public video you own or are authorized to download.
- Open the VGSAVE downloader and paste the URL.
- Select Get download options.
- Choose an available MP4 quality returned for the source.
- Wait for preparation to finish, then download the file.
What determines the available quality?
VGSAVE checks the media formats available from the source. The returned choices can vary by video, account or access requirements, region, and changes made by the source platform. A missing quality is not artificially added.
Why an MP4 download can fail
- The URL is private, restricted, removed, or no longer accessible.
- The source is not currently supported or has changed its delivery system.
- The requested quality is not available for that source.
- A temporary network or service problem occurred.

Browser workflow
You can use VGSAVE from a normal mobile or desktop browser. A separate downloader app is not required for the website workflow.
