Troubleshooting

VGSAVE download troubleshooting.

If a public URL does not work as expected, use these checks before trying again.

1. Detection fails

Confirm that the URL is correct and that the original page opens publicly in your browser. Private, removed, region-limited, or unsupported media may not be detectable.

2. No quality you want is shown

Available qualities depend on the source. VGSAVE cannot create genuine 1080p or 4K detail when the source does not provide it. See the video quality guide.

3. The download is still preparing

Processing time depends on source response, file size, selected quality, and current workload. Higher-resolution files are often larger and take longer. Keep the page open while processing.

4. The file download fails

Check your connection and available device storage. If the source has changed or the URL is no longer public, trying repeatedly may not help.

5. MP3 fails

The source may not contain a usable audio stream or may not currently be supported. Read the MP3 guide for more information.

6. The same URL worked before but no longer works

Source platforms can change how public media is delivered. A previously supported URL may therefore stop working without a change to your own device.

Still stuck?

Read the FAQ or use the Contact page. Do not try to bypass private access controls or other restrictions.
