How to download a supported public video on PC.

VGSAVE works from a standard desktop browser. This guide covers the basic workflow, quality choices, and common troubleshooting steps.

Steps on a computer

  1. Copy the URL of a public video you own or are authorized to download.
  2. Open VGSAVE and paste the URL.
  3. Click Get download options.
  4. Choose an available video quality or MP3.
  5. Wait for processing to finish, then use the download button.
  6. Find the saved file in your browser's Downloads folder unless you selected a different location.

Choosing a quality

Use the video quality guide to understand common resolutions. Higher resolution usually means a larger file, so choose according to your screen, storage, and intended use.

If detection fails

Check that the URL is public and that the original page still opens. Private media, deleted media, regional restrictions, unsupported sources, and temporary service problems can prevent detection or downloading.

If the download takes a while

Large files and higher resolutions can require more preparation and transfer time. Keep the page open while the result is being prepared and make sure your computer has enough free storage.
