How to download a supported public video on Android.

You can use VGSAVE from a normal mobile browser. Use a public URL you are authorized to download and choose a quality that fits your phone and storage.

Steps on Android

  1. Open your browser and copy the URL of a public video you are allowed to download.
  2. Open VGSAVE and paste the URL.
  3. Tap Get download options.
  4. Choose an available MP4 quality or MP3 option.
  5. Wait for the file to finish preparing, then tap the download button.
  6. Check your browser's Downloads area or the Files app to find the saved file.

Which quality should you choose?

For a phone, 720p or 1080p can be practical when genuinely available. Lower resolutions can save storage and mobile data, while higher resolutions create larger files.

Why is the file not downloading?

Make sure the URL is public and still opens normally. Private, deleted, restricted, or unsupported media cannot be made downloadable by VGSAVE. Also check available storage.

Mobile data tip

Large video files can use substantial mobile data. If your plan is limited, consider Wi-Fi and choose a quality appropriate for your screen.
