How to download a public YouTube video with VGSAVE.

VGSAVE can check supported public media URLs and show the qualities available from the source. This guide explains the normal workflow.

Steps

  1. Open the public YouTube video you are authorized to download and copy its URL.
  2. Open the VGSAVE downloader and paste the URL.
  3. Select Get download options.
  4. Choose an available MP4 quality or the MP3 option if it is offered.
  5. Wait for processing and download the prepared file.

Why might a YouTube URL fail?

Public availability can change. A video may be removed, restricted, unavailable in a region, temporarily inaccessible, or delivered through a source format VGSAVE cannot currently process. VGSAVE does not bypass private access or account restrictions.

Why is 4K not shown?

VGSAVE can only offer a quality that the source provides in a usable form. If the source does not expose 2160p media, the downloader should not invent a 4K option.

Only download content you own or have permission to download. Public visibility does not automatically grant permission to copy or redistribute a video. Check the creator's licensing terms and the applicable rules before reusing a file.
